“Animal behavior is the study of what animals do, why they do it, how they do it,

and with whom they do it” (Strassmann, Rubenstein, & Ryan, 2012).

In this virtual museum, you will be investigating animals, specifically

their life cycles, traits, and behaviors such as migration.

Use the mentor animal, the monarch butterfly to begin your investigation.

By doing so, you will develop an understanding of how animals survive in the environment. Then you will be able to apply what you have learned about the

monarch butterfly and transfer that information and theories to other animals.
